Delete Your FertyLink Account

This page explains how to delete your FertyLink account, what is removed, and what we are required by law to keep.

Delete your account in the app

Open the FertyLink app.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
Confirm. You will be signed out immediately.

Delete your account without the app

If you have already uninstalled the app, email us from the address on your account:

Subject: Delete my account

We will verify your identity before acting on the request, then confirm by email once deletion is complete.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your name, email address, phone number, and postal address
Your sign-in credentials and all active sessions
Your profile, photographs, and any media you uploaded
Your messages and support conversations
Your saved searches, preferences, and notification settings
Device identifiers associated with your account

Once deleted, you can no longer sign in and you no longer appear anywhere on FertyLink. Deleting an account is not the same as deactivating or suspending it, and we do not treat deactivation as deletion.

What we are required to keep

If you donated through a participating organization, United States federal law (21 CFR Part 1271) requires donor screening and eligibility records to be retained for at least 10 years. We cannot delete these records, and neither can the clinic or cryobank that holds them.

These records are identified by a code rather than by your name. Your personal details are removed from them as described above.

We also retain transaction and tax records for the periods financial and tax law requires, and any records needed for an active legal matter.

Everything else is deleted within 30 days of your request.
